Denmark Vessey is a Detroit native, but moved to Chicago in 2008 and now splits his time between the two midwest cities. His 2013 critically acclaimed album Cult Classic, produced by Scud One, threw him into the national spotlight and was featured on many end-of-year “best of” lists.
