Decay burst on to the scene in 2005 with his first solo release In Retrospect. With a boom-bap style as the backbone, he uses his exposure of different cultures and musical styles from having lived in all parts of Chicago as influence for his subject matter and sound. He joined the legendary Molemen crew in 2007, releasing The Unlikely Hero the following year and continues to be prolific in the studio, working with the likes of Astonish, Scheme, Molemen, Fluent and Snowgoons.
