Cos-G aka Cosmo Galactus grew up on the southside of Chicago. Inspired by hip-hop’s golden era of the early-to-mid 90s, he started making music while in high school and joined the Nacrobats super-crew, which also included Pugs Atomz, Thaione Davis, Offwhyte, Psalm One, among others, soon after in 1994. He’s been a featured emcee on several Nacrobat releases in addition to a successful solo career. Beyond his talents as a rapper and producer, he’s made a name for himself as a photographer while capturing Chicago’s culture.
