Blunt Crew was founded in the late 80’s on Chicago’s west side by Nathan Ashford and Metaphysics. The core consists of Drama Foxxx, Doctor Who, The Black Lee Brown, King Saladin and Neko. Hurt-M-Badd joined in 2005, best known for his production with 2Pac on the Makaveli The Don Killuminati (The 7 Day Theory) album. Their 2004 debut, Ultraviolence, garnered the attention of Chicago and beyond and their reputation continued to grow with solo releases by Doctor Who (the son of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult bassist Charles Levi), The Black Lee Brown and Drama Foxxx, notably the Google Me Bitch release in 2013. In addition to making music, Doctor Who and Drama Foxxx also anchor the weekly What About Chicago? podcast.
