Awdazcate saw success early on as a member of Bon & Nip (a duo with the late Harvey Allbangers). They were featured as part of a profile on Chicago hip-hop in XXL Magazine in 1999 and would go on to release three albums between 1998 and 2002 before disbanding. In addition to establishing himself as a solo artist, he formed the Waffle Gang in 2011. Comprised of emcees, DJs and producers including B-Vax, State Champs, Pugs Atomz, El Arab and Cochise Soulstar, Waffle Gang might be best known for their “Waffle Fest” chicken and waffle music events and Waffle Gang Radio on Que4. Recently Awdazcate has begun to produce, frequently working with Chris Crack and Pugs Atomz.
