Ang13
MC, DJ, Promoter, Advocate

Ang13 is on the short list of artists that instantly come to mind whenever Chicago Hip-Hop is talked about. Not only a gifted emcee, Ang13 has had her hand in graffiti, breakdancing, producing, DJing, writing, activism, acting and has been a staple of Chicago’s hip-hop scene since she was 13. The Source named her one of the underground’s best kept secrets in 1995 and her music has been featured on projects by Nike, Sprite, Jurassic 5 and more. Ang13’s affiliations run deep in Chicago and she’s been part of many legendary crews over the years including the Illstate Assassins, Molemen and Chi-Rock Nation. She was a 2007 fellowship recipient of Columbia College Chicago which helped support her Zero Tolerance Tour and The Wonda Woman Project across the US.
